What are Custom Documents?

This new feature allows you to adapt the clinical reports automatically generated by Medgical to your specific needs. Now, you can:


✅ View and Modify Report Formats: Check the default report format for your specialty and request changes according to your preferences.
✅ Add or Remove Sections: Customize the sections of the report, including or excluding areas like "Identification" or "Cardiovascular Risk Factors", based on their relevance to your practice.
✅ Adjust Section Content: Define the type of information you want to see in each section. For example, in the "Symptoms/Complaints" section, you can choose to add symptoms from a previous consultation and request a comparison of their evolution.
✅ Choose the Note Style: Do you prefer a list with bolded terms or a continuous text? Personalize the style of the notes according to your preference.

Why did we implement this feature?

Each doctor has their own unique way of structuring information. While one may prefer a detailed report with every symptom thoroughly described, another may focus only on the main points. Some specialties require organized lists, while others benefit from continuous and contextualized descriptions. Even within the same specialty, working methods vary from professional to professional.

The problem? A fixed report template will never be enough for everyone.
With Custom Documents, we want to ensure that Medgical not only adapts to your specialty but also to your personal documentation style. We want the reports generated by Medgical to reflect exactly what you need, in the way that suits you best.

How does it work?

If you're already using Medgical, you'll notice a new feature as soon as you log in: a prominently displayed box with the option "Custom Documents". The process is simple and intuitive: just select the consultation for which you want to make the customization request and define the changes you want. If you prefer, you can start a document from scratch and make it completely unique to you!
