Absolute Lymphocyte Count (ALC)
Enter the total white blood cell count in the unit selected below.
Enter the lymphocyte percentage reported on the CBC differential.
%
Choose the unit in which to display the absolute lymphocyte count.
Clinical noticeEducational arithmetic aid only. This tool derives ALC from CBC differential inputs and does not replace direct laboratory reporting or clinician interpretation.
Context and use
ALC = total white blood cell count × (lymphocyte percentage / 100)
Equivalent values across ×10^9/L, ×10^3/µL, and cells/µL are normalized before the result is shown in the selected output unit.
Fixed interpretation cutoffs are intentionally omitted because reference intervals vary by age and laboratory.
