AIMS65 = albumin < 3.0 g/dL (or < 30 g/L) + INR > 1.5 + altered mental status + SBP <= 90 mm Hg + age > 65 years
Each present criterion contributes 1 point; the final result is the integer total from 0 to 5 points.
Age scores only above 65 years. The result is presented as a prognostic band, not as an individual mortality percentage.
