Preventive CardiologyCardiovascular Risk AssessmentBeta toolThis tool is in beta. It has undergone internal validation but still requires additional testing. Always confirm the data entered and the results obtained before clinical use. It should not be used as the sole basis for clinical decisions.
Biological sex selecting the source-defined sex-specific SCORE2-OP equation; male maps to source code 1 and female maps to source code 2.
Baseline age for SCORE2-OP. The intended clinical population is aged 70 years or older; the recovered source code does not impose an upper age limit.
Current smoking status. Yes means current smoker; no means other/not current smoker.
History of diabetes. Yes corresponds to definite diabetes history in the author implementation.
Baseline systolic blood pressure.
Baseline total cholesterol.
Baseline high-density lipoprotein cholesterol.
European SCORE2/SCORE2-OP risk region. Low, moderate, high, and very_high map to source-code numeric values 1, 2, 3, and 4, respectively.

Clinical noticeThis clinical tool supports decision-making and does not replace individual medical assessment.

Context and use

The 10-year SCORE2-OP equation applies sex-specific coefficients to centered age, current smoking, diabetes history, systolic blood pressure, total cholesterol, and HDL cholesterol, incorporates competing risk, and recalibrates the result for the selected European risk region.
